Hi All -
I was going through storage info for the R1T and realized it's unclear how Rivian is counting storage.
The web site says total storage is 68 cu ft. And the web site lists the front trunk at 11 cu ft, and the gear tunnel at 11.6 cu ft. The truck bed is listed at 29 cu ft.
Add those three up and you get 51.6 cu ft of storage.
Subtract 51.6 from 68 and you get 16.4 cu ft of storage space unclaimed - over half of the amount of the entire bed.
I'm guessing that much of this is the spare tire space - which seems like a lot (and a bit of a stretch to call it "storage") - and maybe a few cu ft inside the cabin (under the back seats).
I mean, I'm not complaining... but I'd like to know specifics.
Thoughts??
