Something I noticed watching the JRE video: the latch release for the gear tunnel door is atop the bed rails. Is there another release mechanism elsewhere? Thinking about how a camper shell will block the release on the bed rail.
I believe it was mentioned to be released though the ui on the truck screen as well as accessible via the app on your phone.

The Bloomberg review is so negative. Anyone else find it odd that it was the only 1 negatively-slanted review out of all 22 reviews posted so far? Pretty easy to not put too much stock into it, IMO.

Has anyone seen the power tonneau cover working in any of these reviews? InsideEV tried, but the cover was broken (not good).

She spent an inordinate amount of time complaining that it doesn't make sense as a work truck. Imagine doing a review of a 9 Iron and then spending half of the time complaining that it hits the ball too high and not nearly far enough.

A media dimwit that still thinks that trucks are work only vehicles, and views the R1T from that perspective.

Yes, but I forget which one. Pretty sure it's the (IN) review (What's Inside).
Ben Sullens.

He also noted they told him 220kw max. Different than MotorTrend.

I noticed two videos so far where there were rocks on the camp kitchen stove area. I was confused why, and I think I figured it out. I think they were using them to keep pots from sliding off. See picture where one person has bungee cords to hold the handles. I thought the truck self leveled? Maybe the terrain exceeded the leveling ability?

First pics from What’s Inside review, last from Inside EV.

Another tidbit on range and the modes which the EPA test used:
My drive was too short to verify the 314-mile range that is associated with the R1T’s 135 kilowatt-hour Large Pack battery, but Rivian does not hide the fact that the 34-inch all-terrain tire option will trim that by 10-15%. The rating was made with the standard 21-inch tires in All-Purpose mode and with regen set to the middle Standard setting.

Accurate? I would think that the Conserve mode would have come into play at some point.
