I guess maybe I took delivery of my R1T too late in June last year to do much driving with the windows down. This year, trying to do that results in wind buffeting the likes of Aeolus has never seen. Anybody else?

Both front windows down about 1/4 and no issues.

I rented some car in France that would wind buffet unbearably with all four windows down. What a piece of crap that car was.

My R1 have a little bit but nothing compared to that car.

Made the mistake once of closing the fronts before the rears, won't be doing that again.

I've found at high speeds a crack of the front passenger and rear driver creates a nice draft.

If I'm already in the truck, then I roll down ALL windows fully.

If I know I just want a little airflow and I haven't gotten in the truck yet I will use the "vent window" option in the app.

I want Rivian to expose the Vent Window option in the center screen so I can use it while driving.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
I’ve not owned a car in the last 20 years that I could have a single window down without buffeting. The Rivian is admittedly a lot worse than my Tundra, but it’s better than the i3 by a long shot. I would also roll down the rear window of the Tundra, which was magical.

I think “people of a certain age” (me) remember cars that you could roll down a single window and not get buffeted to deafness. But that’s because those cars were dogshit (from an air sealing perspective … to be kind).

Yes this drives me nuts when my 6-yo will roll down his window in the back and immediately it feels like the truck is having a seizure!

Yep. Rolling only the back window down at speed is a good way to challenge the integrity of my tympanic membranes.

I haven't had a car since the 1990's that didn't buffet so hard it was impossible to drive with the windows down. I remember reading back then in an automobile magazine that it was a byproduct of cars being more aerodynamic. I don't know if that's 100%accurate, but I can't think of any newer car I've had that didn't do this.
