I lost access after about 3 weeks. I am hoping it is because Rivian started building my car, but I don't have confirmation that is the case.

I gained access to the shop this morning but didn't expect to find my R1S config... I was shocked when I found a Limestone/Ocean that matched my order config... except the shop vehicle had bright 22's vs. the 21s on my order. I didn't really want to spend the extra $$$ for wheels I didn't want (prefer the extra range and the 21's look balanced)... but I decided to go ahead and click that button and make it mine. Purchase process stated. Still waiting to hear what the delivery timing will be. Shop noted 1-8 weeks.

Figured I can always sell the 22s and swap for 21s if needed.

Granted I have a July/August delivery window, but I figured I would ask CS about shop access after following this thread for weeks. After a long pause on the chat "reviewing my order," the rep's response: "I don't think I can work out shop access for you. But the good news is that you should get your original order in just about the same time you would get a shop order." Always dangerous to read too much into these things, but how should I interpret this? Once delivery is initiated for either method, would the times really vary much? Could things be imminent for me?

Unless you were picking up at the factory the timing is probably the same. Congrats!

El Cap on Dark 20"s is beautiful, and the LG/OC/22" is a great config at the base $75.5k. Someone will be really happy with either or both of those.

Sounds identical to my process. Saw a match the day after I was granted store access. It was identical but for the 22"s. My kids persuaded me to strike despite the upcharge for the wheels - actually they preferred the look of the 22s. Picking up tomorrow hopefully.
