Thanks! I thought the work was definitely good, as they really paid attention to detail. Every time I visit, they have some exotic or unique vehicles they work on, so it’s fun to see them in action.Looks incredible! Do you mind sharing how much that all ran you? I’m in OC, won’t mind traveling if the work is good and price is right for PPF.
The price is competitive to most shops in LA when I asked around, and in fact were on the lower end of the range. You can save some money by going with gloss and not getting the front/rear bumper trims blacked out. I’d suggest just shooting them a message on their website to get a quote. You can tell them the guy with the stealth blue R1S sent you, but I’m unsure if that’ll get you a discount (who knows?). They are all very friendly to work with!
FYI, I've heard good things about 1 Clear Bra down in OC as well, but I didn't get a chance to check them out, so I can't vouch for them.
See above, regarding prices. Just send them a quick message for a quote. I think the additional cost over the standard Rivian program is well worth it. They don’t cut corners, they remove things as necessary to get to the edges, and overall they cover the whole vehicle instead of the standard Rivian cutouts. How much more cost $ then Rivian PPF program ?
Thanks! Believe me, I debated it for a while. I heard a few horror stories of the tint potentially cracking the roof in extreme heat. The folks here said they haven’t had any problems if the tint is either 45% or 70%, but any darker they’ve seen issues.Looks awesome. Just surprised (as you are in Cali) that you didn't have the glass roof treated.
I would’ve gone with the 70%, but for now I decided not to risk it since it’s typically parked in a garage most of the time. Also, the weather in west LA is pretty temperate compared to the valleys. Plus, I can add it later anytime I choose to (we'll see how the summer goes).
Oddly enough, I didn't tell them which badge I needed (and they didn't ask). They just immediately turned me down and told me they don't sell it separately as a part.Yeah that's crazy, you can apparently get the hood variant so it doesn't make sense not to offer the C-pillars. But that does basically lock-in the fact that they are different pieces. otherwise it would just be the part you can already get
Thanks, yeah, same here. We took it to Palm Springs a couple weeks ago and had a blast. Hopefully they'll be another Rivian meet up in LA sometime soon which I can join.Wow, very nice! I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures in its natural habitat (streets and neighborhoods of LA and maybe a trail or two )
