Found the 3rd row area seating pics interesting. Doesn't look like much 3rd row leg room, but also notice what looks like 2nd row latch/(tilt?) & sliding capabilities to gain some more room, as needed:

Looks like enough leg room on 3rd row. The seat back is just so large that it makes it look like not much room with 2nd row. If you visualize the seat back in the upright mode in the picture it appears to be much more.

Does the third row recline as well? Or is that picture showing the beginnings of folding down the third row?

with the third row down, it definitely looks like it is not a flat floor!

It's not totally flat. There's the really good video of RJ and another Rivian team member showing the hump and the panel that has a changeable position to be lower and flat/level to the ground or angled and providing a flat transition to the 3rd row seat backs.

In these latest photos, there are some panels sticking up that will ultimately flatten out as soon as any weight is put on them. I think with the seats upright, those panels are also upright against the backs.

I just want a smooth transition. It does not need to be perfectly flat.

yeah, and we'll have to wait to see more of them out there to get a better sense of that. Some of the photos right now look very bumpy, but I think/hope it's just that there are panels that need to break in a little to fall flat quicker on their own.

The iJustine video showed how the panel adjusts an an incline to provide a smooth transition, here’s a screen capture

Wonder if its possible to remove the middle seat in the second row to create a pass through like captains chair configuration?

Remove? No. Fold down? Yes. It will be a very typical 60/40 seat with 40/20/40 split across the back.

The black 22s definitely gives LG a more rugged appearance. The brights makes it appear more “urban”. Love them both but I’m a city boy so brights for me. Thanks for posting!
