Just installed mine. Took maybe an hour total and I had my wife help lift them to slide on.
One tip is there is a bolt underneath that can get in the way so you have to lift up the outer edge of slider to clear the bolt to have it slide in all the way. One side was fine and the other side the bolt was maybe 1/16th in the way.

These things are seriously beefy and packaged incredibly well. I waited 6 months but the manufacturer was super responsive and kept me informed.

I also installed some 1/2in rubber plugs about 4 on each side to seal up the bottom as much as possible. The only opening left are 2 large oval holes.

My passenger side was the tricky one with the bolt. I figured i got lucky with the drivers side since i did that one first. Not sure if the sides differs slightly. I’m still impressed on how these were designed to use existing bolts with no additional hardware needed. Less bolts to corrode and fail.

Lookin' good! We're glad to hear you're happy with the results. Do you have any photos of the plugs? (I ask because you'll want to keep the "through-holes" on the bottom of the sliders open. Enclosing things too much can catch/retain water. And, while they are internally coated, it's best to avoid that if possible).

I put the plugs on the underside of the car not the sliders there are a a few 1/2 in holes in the underbody that were exposed when I removed the plastic underbody panels that I plugged since I already had the plugs on hand. I figured they are not drain holes since they were covered by the plastic panels that need to be removed.

I had a Rivian mobile tech come out yesterday as well to give a tire rotation and 7500 mile service. He mentioned the rear jack hole is covered by the sliders but the hole used for the TP55 bolt is a great alternative jack spot. He said he looked up to see if it was ok and wherever he looked said it was totally fine, FYI.

Great product and I appreciate your prompt communication.

finished my install about 3h later, shouldn't have started in the evening but once I got one side done, i had to commit to install the other side. luckily it wasn't raining and been dry all day outside.

did this solo, these sliders are pretty heavy and hefty. true enough, it was tricky to angle the sliders in to avoid the front side screw nuts in the way of the slider lip, took a few tries to understand what the problem was the first time and got it done in 1 try on the other side.

initially, i went back and forth a few times, watching YT videos. Some of the instructions were off - like which 17mm nuts to remove - only 4, not 6 as described in the instructions. And which T55 screws to remove - 3,4,5,6,7 - for me.

Just installed mine on my R1S with my kids' help. Fantastic build quality. They look great and do wonders for stepping up into the vehicle during everyday use. This is a bigger deal than I expected. Looking forward to the protection they'll give me on the trails.

It took me 5 hours, though. I had to puzzle out which bolts to remove, same as @flush (the instructions are for the R1T), and run to Home Depot a few times for the right tools. The second one went much faster than the first.

Worth it.

Just take off panels, loosen some screws and mount sliders. No modification or additional screws/bolts are needed. Underside is partially exposed but non issue. I'm in process of cutting the original panels and fitting it back on just for aesthetics.
Your "fix" will also give you back a small amount of Aerodynamics totally worth it

Any pictures of how much underbody is left exposed with panels removed and/or cut, or plugged (as the one person mentioned)?

I installed mine yesterday, with the help of a friend who had jack stands. Took around 2 hours. And I referred to this post, to confirm that yes I only needed to remove 4 17 mm bolts, and 5 T55 screws.
