The lack of any updates on the R1S (like finalized interior photos to start with) has me concerned that the March->April dates are very likely to slip (and cascade to those of us behind in line).

FWIW, I think the R1S is already planned to be a VERY slow ramp. I'm a 12/2/18 date and my LE delivery, in Atlanta, is scheduled for May-June. I'm order #2900-ish, I think. And if you believe that they started at 1000 and 600 were internal, I'm "real" order # 1300 or so. Assuming 60-70% are R1Ts, that means I'm one of the first maybe 300-400 R1S orders. Backing up from there, they would only need to average roughly 100/month from March to hit that date. That doesn't sound like it's insurmountable. At least not yet. So I'm still cautiously optimistic.

Jan 20 22 and very few if any reports of pre production R1S roaming the street and only 2 reported "beta" SUV to employees. Going by R1T timing if there were going to be retail customer deliveries of R1S's in the 1st half of 2022 there should be more activity. I realize a lot of similarities to the R1T but the same arguments about streamlining production can be made about the R1S as the delayed R1T maxpak. Any one else getting a sense of deja vu?
No.
