R1S Gen2 Navigation Issue

It's a bit of a niche problem but still a problem.

I took a ferry in WA a couple of times, and whenever I got off the ferry, navigation thought I was still somewhere in the water. Driving around

With other navigations, it would normally take a couple of seconds for the position to be re-established. However, with my R1S, the projected position is minute by minute, coming closer to where I actually am. This causes the problem, as it can take 30-40-50 minutes for the accurate location to catch up with where I am.

Anyone seen anything similar? Any solutions for this?

Not a niche problem for those of us who live on islands and take the ferry every day. Yes, it's very broken. No, I've never had this experience with any other nav system.
