R1S car camping air mattress recommendations?

Has anyone identified the best options for inflatable air mattresses for the R1S yet or is there any indication that Rivian will be adding this to their gear outlet in the near future? We need to purchase one for another reason shortly but would like to get the best choice for our R1S that is due anytime now (Oct-Dec).

I use an air mattress in my RTT with a 1" memory foam topper. The air mattress is from iKamper but you can find similar tech in many self inflating mattresses on Amazon. There are also some SUV specific ones if you search around.

In the end it will just be finding one that fits the dimensions well that you want to use. Definitely wouldn't want to pay gear shop prices for one.

Edit: For completeness this is the one I have but would recommend getting a similar one from a knock off brand.

You could write exped and ask them to make a mat for the R1S. They've done it for the teslas. It looks like this one should fit but it could be bigger to fit better.

Get a thick memory foam topper, like 5/6 Inches as your mattress.

I have nothing to add specific to the R1S, other than to say I used an Exped in the Sportsmobile to make it comfortable to sleep in. Expeds are probably the best (somewhat portable/packable) air mattress option: has foam insert, insulated and super comfortable.

+1 on Exped. I use one for my tent camping setup and have nothing but good things to say. Very comfortable and packs down to a decent size. Looks like the Medium Double here would fit, based on dimensions as shown below. The one I have is too large, so will probably wait for Exped to develop a custom sized one for the R1S.

Reporting back on the xprite foam mattress. I’m surprised at how good it fits the R1S, both in length and width it lays flat. Side-to-side it’s a perfect fit. Length is good too with almost the entire space covered with the 2nd and 3rd row folded down.

Folded up, it easily stores, although takes up more room than a deflated air mattress.

This was purchased as as Jeep Wrangler JK fitment and overall I’m glad I kept it for use in the R1S. Minus the console cutout it’s a near perfect fit.

I use this in my Jeep and absolutely love it! Not sure how well it would fit the R1S, but it’s the best I’ve had. I had their air mattress for a wrangler too and the self-inflating solo mat is much warmer and more comfortable IMO.

Love my exped megamat duo for the R1T! Their double sleeping bag is also amazing, but I had to use my summer bag inside it to handle 17F overnight!

For $100 I am giving the Teton a test. A quick test fit today and the sizing is right, not the thickest mattress, but seemed comfortable. Tomorrow night will be the real test.
