Some possible new UI hints too:1. Rivian branded drawer in place of camp speaker.
2. Power control button for locks on side of door.
3. Rear passenger charge port
4. and the site is now unresponsive.....
I would really like to have the music display on my front display now and not take up room on the main screen. I would use the steering controls to pause or skip anyway. I think the left side of the screen today is really a wasted opportunity for plenty of additional information. Just having navigation, efficiency, and tire pressure seems lacking. I always assumed that was going to end up as some software update. I'm kind of torn on that new speedo display. I can't figure out if I like it or not. Some possible new UI hints too:
Current song playing is on the left side of the drivers display.
Redesigned cruise control display near speedo.

On the R3X page you can see the front camera on the drivers display overlayed by a compass and speedometer.

I've been hoping that they would add a media widget in addition to the efficiency, tire pressure and navi widgets. It seems like a no-brainer to me.Current song playing is on the left side of the drivers display.
I’d assume that there will be some UI changes over to current R1 vehicles. They did the same thing with the Model 3 and Y for Tesla so it was more universal across the board.I hope they extend any UI improvements to current R1 owners as well. The updated UI looks nice, imo.
Usually that is the case, at least with Tesla. It doesn't make sense to code 2 different UI's for different platforms unless there are hardware limitations. ( I do not believe that to be the case here)I'm guessing that the UI will remain nearly identical across R1/R2/R3.
I think it's also fair to say that what we're seeing in these images is renderings that may change a lot between now and production.
