I edited my post above: looks like a Max pack reduction of $4000.

I'll be there at 1:00 picking up my Silver R1S.
Ha! I'm helping my sister with a silver R1T max pack. I believe also Saturday 5/25 1p delivery at Denver. Might see you there.

We're doing a lease, which as-of yesterday showed roughly +$9k Max pack and -$4k lease credit.

Are you purchasing or leasing? I'm wondering if the reduction in Max pack is only for cash/finance and not lease....

I finally heard back from my “guide” he told me that the canceled appt, re-schedule and new docs to sign are because of a MSRP reduction announced today(I don’t think publicly yet) and that triggered the changes but he said I’m good to go for my new pickup at 1pm today. He did say I would get new leasing docs to sign via email and those would have to be done before pickup. I have not seen them yet and sent a text as I’m heading out the door to drive 2 hours. He responded that if they had not arrived by the time I get there we will be able to know them out onsite. Hoping all goes well and my 2 hour drive back will be in my new R1T!
thank you, super helpful!

I’m picking up car tomorrow and after seeing this post checked in with my delivery guide. Appears that there is a reduction in price effective this afternoon for battery and kind of motor from the base price that I originally signed up for. I’ll take it!

Take a look in your transaction and vehicle summary and you can see the new adjusted costs broken down for your spec and can back into what you new saving is if you remembered what it was when you signed up. It looks like quad motor was down $2k and the large battery was down $2k. I don’t see any difference in lease monthly cost yet and haven’t received any formal notification or email/new paperwork showing what the new payment or residual might be but it was a nice surprise to wake up to today for sure!

And yes it’s 100% about reducing inventory ahead of the refresh - but I don’t want to wait anymore!

I'm leasing (to get the tax credit). You have a $9000 max pack or $19100? I've got the $7500 EV lease credit, maybe your 4k is the new discount?

I changed my order from green to white and it extended delivery by a week and now I have never been more happy with a white car. Greatest color ever.
It does hide imperfections well.

Rivian pays a chunk of the interest of the loan up front, it gets packaged as a lower percentage to the customer. I think the high interest rates right now are definitely causing people to sit on the sidelines, especially for longer loan durations that make the payments "affordable".

We're talking about vehicles that are already built, that are otherwise depreciating assets. Rivian needs these off their books to make Q3/Q4 numbers look better.
I agree. Probably better to lower the rate than the price.

My GW was delivered with dings I didn't even see until days later. FG was my other choice, but ultimately could not bring myself to pay extra for pigment.

Holy disappearing inventory, Batman. Great deals for current buyers. And the shop is showing quads with 21” wheels and not much else. (Having checked a handful of zip codes.) Where’d all the PDMs go?

Am I dreaming? Could the refreshed R1s be coming?
They are most likely clearing inventory before the refreshed MY25s go to market. PDMs are probably spoken for. Signs point to 21" wheels heading for discontinuation. If you'd rather have 20s, go aftermarket and run 275/60R20 tires, nearly the same overall diameter (0.3% delta). Set the 21s aside to turn in when lease is up.
