Has anyone tried to use a portable generator like a generac 3500IQ or something to charge the truck? Don’t want the debate around gas/etc - just wanted to know if anyone has tried it. Thanks

I haven't tried, myself. Looking at the specs it's only a 120V unit so you'd be extremely limited if it did work. Something like 2 miles per hour would be optimistic.

A custom L5-30 to 14-50 where you land the neutral from the L5 onto the second hot of the 14-50 would allow you to charge with the Rivian portable at 24A, assuming the grounding is properly configured.

Interesting. That might bump you up to 4-5mph. Not great, but it could help if camping for a while.
