Yes it's officially up and running. Confirmed/announced by Rivian last week:

Our Rivian Adventure Network site in Pismo Beach, CA, is live. Featuring 6 DC fast chargers, including 2 trailer-friendly chargers, the site opens up Hwy 101. Enjoy the coast at nearby Oceano Dunes Natural Preserve State Park for surfing, hiking, camping, and more.

I'll be staying 6 weeks in that area starting June 1st. I've been hoping it would be operating by then. I'll be using the rivian to power my motorhome for a week of that time while I'm in a no hookup site. There's already a Tesla dc charger nearby but I like most owners prefer Rivian whenever possible.

I was in Morro Bay a couple days ago and drove south. This RAN did not come up if online

Great news. Rivian does EVs right. They need one on 180 on way up to Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Drive well.

That's great, but unfortunately it doesn't matter if their prices are still significantly higher than everyone else.
