Picked up my R1S today..How Do I add items to 'repair' list for my existing service appointment

Picked up my R1s today. It is mostly great. However as anticipated it has some issues..

  1. Steering out of alignment (pulls to right)
  2. Chipped paint and damaged A Pillar/windshield/ trim/Roof damaged upper right corner with paint roof trim damage (this is a bad one)
  3. Chipped Paint rear hatch (hard to repair these)
  4. Lower driver side plastic trim out of alignment
  5. Rattle in passenger side dash speaker? - Tell me this is a normal one?
I set an appointment to have everything repaired. But I need to keep adding things to the list as they arise.

How to I add items to my list for the service appointment.

And it broke.....


I might be the shortest RIVIAN owner in history. With less than 50 miles all lights have failed. Both adaptive and low beams are out. Hard reset failed to remedy the issue.

No info for you, but wondering if you considered refusing delivery? I am not sure I would want to deal with paint issues. I am supposed to receive mine in less than a week.

Take it back immediately. That vehicle was mishandled. Issues like that should not have been accepted, use your return window while you still have it.

There is no longer a return window, and hasn't been for a while. To answer the OP, you open a service ticket in the app. Type your issue, photograph all the areas of concern, and file a ticket. You can edit and add to a ticket once filed.

There is no longer a return window, and hasn't been for a while. To answer the OP, you open a service ticket in the app. Type your issue, photograph all the areas of concern, and file a ticket. You can edit and add to a ticket once filed.
Oh no. Sorry OP. Hopefully they can repair everything in one painless go, and give you a loaner rivian in the meantime. I wouldn't settle for the normal rental, they should give you as similar of a vehicle as you paid for when issues like this pop up as soon as you leave the lot.

Paint and finish issue are pretty normal with most new cars (I have purchased quite a few). Those don't bother me. However, mechanical and electrical are a different story.

I am taking the car back to the service center tomorrow AM. I have called RIVIAN support.




I believe my state has a 3 day window you can return a car and pay for the miles driven.
