Picked up my R1S from Rivian factory!! Love the combo: double Forest exterior + interior

Got one out of the shop, a little different than planned and glad we did. Picked it up at the factory which was awesome. Drove home and it was great. Tried to charge at an Electrify America station down the street from my house and the "pumps" weren't working. Got a super slow charge at home and found out how slow and fast charging could be at paid stations.

Drove it down to Indy for the race weekend and played around with EA chargers a bit. Aside from the pain of charging truly being real, everything was great. Rides nice, a little firm, but we've got a Wrangler Rubicon, so normal for us (nicer obviously).

Put almost 1,000 miles on it since Tuesday. Everyone who's seen it loves the look. Did I mention we like it? You should get one. Like pick one from the shop if you have that option, seriously off to a great start.

How do the crops look in Indiana? (It's a farmer thing.) More on topic ... during your factory tour (I assume you got a tour.), could you discern whether production has started for S's with the vegan leather accents (aka, vinyl dash)?

Huh. I thought it was the only ext color it looked really good with that I wanted. I'm deciding between blue, red, and green.

I'm also red green colorblind.

The computer rendering in the configurator/visualizer make Forest Edge look much more green than it is in reality. I think it's honestly a pretty odd interior color with ANY exterior color, as rendered. In person, Forest Edge looks good with Launch Green, Forest Green, or any of the neutral colors (white, LA Silver, Limestone, El Cap, or black).

I definitely wouldn't go red and green unless your name is Nicholas and you're really busy at the end of December. Blue and green wouldn't be my choice either. Both the red and blue probably look great with either Black Mountain or Ocean Coast.

Yep, it is certainly green inside, but not a crazy color like a red leather interior or some of those wild colors you used to see. I think it will age well.

Crops were unimpressive. Saw some 6" corn in Indiana this weekend. Didn't know about the dash, but you were on a catwalk. The wood looks really nice.
