Those seats are exactly what I want. The wood looks a little too blonde, but maybe that's what they're addressing? That and making the seats more stain resistant? Some pics of the “pre production OC interior” in a R1T used exclusively for mobile sve.
I agree, so count me in. My feeling is that the OC final production wood tone and fabric combination will be stunning option.Seats look AMAZING!
I think the wood will look different in production. This color looks quite a bit different than it does in the configurator, and Tony's email from a few months ago specifically said that one reason for the delay is so that they can "make sure it looks like how you all saw it in the Configurator". Super excited to see how it comes out.
When I saw these, I noticed something wasn't matching up... and just noticed the OC interior has changed. The top of dash and steering wheel wrap used to be white as well. I checked with an old photo of a prototype vehicle I saw in Seattle in '19 and the configurator as it is today. Configurator aligns with your post, but I'm fairly certain this was altered. Some pics of the “pre production OC interior” in a R1T used exclusively for mobile sve.
The R1T I drove at the First Mile event last year had OC interior and the seats looked worn and dirty. I have to imagine the upkeep on white interior will require people to channel their inner OCD in order to keep it clean..... I hope the seat discoloration won't be a major issue.
It definitely changed. And for the record, the pic you posted from Seattle wasn't Ocean Coast, it was Lunar Rock. Either way, a dark top of dash makes more sense in bright driving situations, so no real loss.
