Phone mount

I know Rivian don't like any kind of CarPlay. But just why they cannot provide better phone mount so we don't bother their infotainment system. This is just not applicable to Rivian but this applies to all auto maker. It is about time they should think about good phone mount. I am not big fan of cup holder mount or vent mount. They keep on falling to floor all the time.

I’ve gone through a few different solutions and ended up with the EveryAmp option in 25mm with Ram mount. It’s the only one I’ve come across that reduces the vibration when using an extended mount (to clear the steering wheel viewing angle).

I was worried about it, but was able to successfully install it in my neighbors RIT and then into our R1S. Worked well when coupled with a Spingen offset magsafe mount.

I've been very happy with the everyamp version. They even custom-made me a double headed one for the passenger side.

I use the OpensourceEV pro mount with the arm and charger below. Gets the phone just at the right height and the charger is very grippy. Highly recommend all 3.

It works OK for me. I already had the mount for the phone. Just needed the base. Fit perfectly between the 2 screens
