As you can see in the link above we have decided to offer our classic charging plate as a free download for you to print at home. This is an update of our original design, it's made to be easier to print and should result in a better print.

A few things of note: we highly recommend using PETG, ABS, or ASA due it's ability to resist heat. We will continue to offer to print it ourselves, and we also guarantee the quality of our print.

Thank you for the design. I made a couple slight modifications. I only needed one puck, so I removed the other. I also added a Rivian logo relief and made the granola cup I little more shallow so I could wrap it with an adhesive velvet sheet.

I found the wrap on Amazon. It's made by Azobur and listed as a velvet repair patch. Comes in a bunch of colors. Almost went with blue (my truck is Rivian blue) or yellow.

Be careful using the rivian logo. I'd probably not use it since it's a protected trademark.

Isnt this the same as painting a rivian logo and giving it to a friend? There is no exchange of currency. I see people painting trademarked or designing over trademarked logos as art all the time. I think the sale is the hard stop. At least thats my understanding.

It is. But they also don't like distribution either. They've had websites rework their designs and language due to trademark issues. I'm just saying be careful. It's a good conversation to have directly but maybe not on the forum. I don't want anyone to have to deal with lawyers.
