Opinions on selling price.

Thinking about selling my R1S- adventure- quad motor. 18k. Got in at the pre-price hike prices. been a forum member since forever...but recently changed my forum login. Absolutely loved the vehicle over the last 19 months. Living situation is making it clear that I need to downsize. Will be back when my R2S arrives.

Have an offer from a local used car dealer in Tacoma WA for $67k. Seems very reasonable.

Anyone have any thoughts about resale?

Doing a quick KBB price check, seems like a good price, this is for a 2023 with 18k on it for a private party sale.

agree. I was surprised that a dealership would go as high as private party. The guy said they have had a few rivian and they sell quickly. last one within a week. So I asked for 70k, countered at 67k

I do not do private party either, the extra potential dollars just is not worth the hassle of dealing with the buyers and payments. I would take that dealers offer if it was me.

I sold a Jeep Unlimited to a dealer in Florida last year, they actually gave me 4k over what I would have taken. My daughter had the Jeep for 4 years and they gave us 1k less than we actually paid for it.

I queried KBB for fun the other day for my LE with 40K. I got a similar price in SoCal.

$67k is very reasonable and solid offer in my opinion. I would not hold out for more or look to sell private if it were me.

Bookmark this page . Enter your VIN and options, look for the price listed under finance advance. This is the starting point for negotiations.

Quick edit here - if they are going to give you well above the finance advance price listed, assuming outright sales-- I suggest you take it.

My dad and I used actual Blackbooks in the mid 2000s when we did wholesale. Give me the VIN (minus last 5 digits), I'll give you Manheim prices and estimate based on actual wholesale auctions.
