Email received, $78/share. I will buy half the 175 shares because of the shenanigans with the IPO price increase.

I'll save the remaining money I earmarked for Rivian to buy the dip!
I wish I did that, applied for 175 and then picked whatever I wanted. Instead I pulled a dummy and said 50 so I'm stuck at 50 or below

and as of today, electricity provider to Texas. What could go wrong???
So…they overpaid for the solar part and it is basically profit less. The tech, software, data thing is one bullet. So really they are two things plus one large piece of baggage.

Seriously right?
This entire process is managed by the underwriter, Morgan Stanley, AND Rivian is in a quiet period. They can literally run afoul of SEC regulations by trying to anything that you think they should be doing. You guys will literally look for any reason to **** on Rivian.

It ends up at the final screen and says Pay by ACH or Pay by Wire.
Then I select ACH, and you need to go to Morgan Stanley, which is already funded.
But ...

Nothing. No way to pay.
Me Too.
I can't find a way to pay for the shares.

I transferred the money in days ago.

I accepted the shares and put in the number, and it says to pick ACH or Wire ...

Nothing about the DSP shows up in the Morgan Stanley account.

I was able to do my purchase just now. Did 100 shares. My first individual stock purchase ever! I have index funds through my retirement account but this was a new experience!

So after you select ACH or Wire for payment, you can't do anything tomorrow until they allocate the shares into the account, correct?

To confirm, as I read it, we can confirm the purchase today and pay in coming days, before the 15th. No need to have $13,650 sitting the MS account longer than needed.

edit: of course, it is going to take until the 15th to complete the ACH transfer I just set up from my Wells Fargo account. Should be OK.

Yeah this was confusing to me. The money I had transferred in preparation for this was there in my account when I logged in, but not clear how to associate it with the purchase. I guess we will see tomorrow morning.
