Official Rivian Bike Pad for R1T Tailgate - First Look! 🚴‍♀️ (updated w/ photos in use)

Looks very slick and well designed but I'm going to continue doing what I have been - using mounts that keep the bike from touching the vehicle (using a Thule T2 at the moment). Yes, it's a "truck" but that's no excuse to invite my muddy mess of a bike to rub itself against my nice paint.

I think they strap Alexa to that and wheel it around ... for testing and such...

For sure, I don't know of anyone that buys a midsized truck as a work truck. Give me a white Silverado anyday for that task.

Not anymore, but I remember being able to easily toss a couple in the back of a full size, years ago, with plenty of room to spare.

I have a tool box mounted in the tiny little bed in my Tacoma and I still was able to fit 5 bikes back there (at an angle) using the Fox tailgate pad I currently own. That Rivian pad and a long gear guard cable (or 2) will be perfect!
