For what it's worth, that class, while somewhat intense, requires neither sliders, nor dedicated tires. (The professionals are so very good at helping us understand how to use our vehicles and in some ways imply that things like sliders, dedicated tires, and other off-road equipment are kind of 'crutches' for people who aren't otherwise super well versed; bad luck-aside. I'm paraphrasing, but you get the jist)Looks fun.
I've been trying to find sliders so I can take my R1S for an off-road shakedown run, but haven't found the right option.
Since Rivian won't/may not service vehicles with sliders, I was hoping they'd release their own so that wouldn't be an issue, but it looks as if it may not happen.
People on 22 sports and no extra protection have done very well in that course.
I think the worst that's ever happened are a few flat tires, but Jazzy and company generally bring a few extra spares to loan (from Rivian) just in case people don't have their own. To date, I don't believe they've had to use more than 1. And, as far as I'm ware, there has been zero damage to vehicles outside of a scratched rim or two and occasional light pinstriping.
The mud is real, though. Prepare to give your truck a bath afterwards!!
