I assumed within my thoughts that I'd be salvaging those bits as well in this hypothetical world we could retrofit our own equipment. You'd for sure need the button(s), plastic trim and harnesses associated with the PTC assembly.Almost guaranteed it does. It's extremely unlikely that the car would just detect it. Also, does the vehicle come with the switch for it if it's not equipped? And the escape button?
