I'm curious about the ways folks have been creative with their power outlets. I love the bouncy house photos from another thread.

I'm the weirdo trying to remove that new car smell VOCs.

On my Powerboost I used it for my Breville Barista espresso maker.

In 4 tailgates this season I've used the bed outlets for a TV, satellite receiver, crockpot, rice cooker and, my favorite.... a sous vide circulator.

We've had a bunch of early morning tailgates so the passenger side gear tunnel door has turned into a coffee station with the Nespresso machine.

Don't know if odd, certainly the most questionable. I feel like the inverter was designed for motor loads because it sags the voltage significantly in order to control the current. Once it's at speed it cuts just fine, if only a little slow.

Anybody trying for perpetual energy by plugging in their portable charger to the outlet in the bed, and "charging" their truck?

Not charging itself, but it does charge my Arcimoto. (Ironically, the Rivian mobile charge cord doesn’t work on the bed outlet since it has no ground, but the Ford mobile charge cord from my Mach-E works fine.)

(Excuse the cans In the bed waiting to go to the recycle center.)

I could probably charge one of the electric bicycles sitting behind the Arcimoto, too. They don’t take much juice.

Bike to the right could use a little Rivian compressor love on the rear tire ;)

It's actually missing the tube completely - I thought I had a spare of the right size, but didn't. It's fall now, so they're mostly going unused, so haven't gotten around to hitting up a bike shop to get a proper size tube.

Used the R1T for a recovery of a car that sat for 3 years. Pulled the truck up, filled the tires with the compressor, charged the battery with the 120V, started up, but then needed to pull it out of the rut it was in. It’s as if the truck was designed to do this on a regular basis.

Tubeless is the only way to go! No more crappy pinch flats!
