Oct-Dec 2022 Delivery Windows

Can anyone comment on how long i'll be waiting from here? My guide told me that my vehicle wait waiting to be shipped in normal yesterday (when my 8 steps opened up). I'm only able to complete the steps through insurance. The rest will unlock (I presume) after they PDI the vehicle at my service service center (I'm guessing ROCKVILLE, MD). Just want to iron out the plan w/ my CU as they're exceptionally small and this is the first Rivian they've done (can't ACH the payment---but've indicated they can wire it).

It also was wearing a full winter of VT dirt roads and spilled food and dog snot. I filled two room with all the stuff I pulled out. It's amazing how much you can store hidden in an EV

Finally got through steps 3 and 5-8 today and delivery is scheduled for Friday!
As others have reported, step 8 never opened for me and I scheduled delivery through my guide.

I ended up switching my config to Midnight. I'm still flexible with El Cap too, but Midnight just looks really good. Pretty much same spec as you now.

Yeah. The midnight looks great. And that’s where it starts. The inside is beautiful and the driving is amazing. We put about 40 miles on it today, it is a beast.

Wanted to ask if anyone with the oct-dec 2022 delivery window got lucky and assigned a guide? I only ask cause i know one person who was contacted who had that estimated delivery date.

I'm sure I'm not the first at this point, but I was originally given the Q4 window and surprisingly took delivery today. And today being exactly one week since the intro call with my guide. I assume it's a combination of great configuration batching match and sheer dumb luck.

thats a good point. I have heard of some minor issues popping up and the more they build the more better the quality should get.

Or… the more desperate they get to show production progress, the faster and sloppier they get making, inspecting and delivering them?
