For those of us who pre-ordered with Ocean Coast interior, who’s waiting for it and who’s jumped to a different interior to get their vehicle sooner?

I'm switching to Black Mountain, but not to get it sooner. I really like the OC interior but can't stop worrying about the wood. A lot of variation in color in the online pics. I'm hoping for a gray/ash base, but it sometimes looks pink, or worse, yellow. I thought about waiting to see it in person, but the worst case scenario would be that I really like it and it slowly ages yellow in a couple years (think baseball bat). Curious what others think....

I’m waiting merely because I don’t personally care for green. It’s just a color preference that isn’t my favorite. So I’m bummed that 2 of the 3 options contain green, which puts me into OC. I’d do BM if the accents were any other color, but they aren’t, so I guess I’m waiting….

SOME folks are not waiting anymore, but by our own poll, half (50%) of OC preorders are.

In my case, dark gray interiors have become standard these days and I've had enough of them. Forest Edge, as a green-gray mix, goes well with certain exterior colors but not all of them. I'm configured for Launch Green and want something that complements and offsets LG. OC does this.

I'm sticking with Ocean Coast & darn the delay.

DAMN THE DELAY- OC FOR LIFE!

This is really more of a personal preference. I believe FE only works on a few colors. My car currently has a black interior and my wife has a color (seats) that are very much like OC in her Kia. I think her interior looks great.

Also, i think Rivian Blue was almost made for OC :)

Also, I know this won't happen, but I would absolutely take the OC interior bits with the BM wood, especially if it meant getting the truck earlier.

I actually switched to OC because I’m not in a hurry for delivery and I expect later R1’s to be less rough around the edges. There’s a chance, however small, that later R1’s could have upgrades not available to early deliveries.

Ya I will be waiting 4 years if it is fall that we get OC but I'm ok with that. Every time I see the pictures of OC it has so much more contrast and looks so good. I also have a hate for boring and black interiors. luckily the rivian pulls it off but still not for me.

Keeping OC on the R1S (for now), BM on the R1T. Will consider swapping the wood panels between the two once I get them in hand and get a chance to see if the colors compliment.
