Yea, most other pictures and videos make it clear that the OC wood is lighter/more pale and doesn't actually have this look. I, too, wish this was a real representation.

Slightly older post, but after having seen in person, sat in, etc, a OC Rivian... Its definitely not a pretty as the pictures above. Being more of a heavily creamed coffee, than white. The pictures, i think are beautiful. But after seeing them in person, they look more, well the only way to put it, is dirty.

I was so hoping they were white.. in this Interior, the way the pictures show, they look so beautiful. But in my opinion, its not nearly as good as I was hoping.

Are you referring to the seats not being as white? I don't really mind an off white colour, that may require less cleaning.

I would disagree. It was never white. More of a light grey and looks amazing. But also biased as that’s my configuration.

I'm not sure what a "smoker dirty" is ... but I disagree with how OC is portrayed on the Rivian Website. If you want to see "perfect white" or bright white check out the Tesla interior. This to me is more off-white. I hope to see it in person.

To my eye it was very slightly off white, with a bluish cast. Looked fine to me. Highly subjective.

also just realized the yellow one in the Pictures from the Breckenridge media event is the same one I drove at first mile in Sonoma later.

It didnt have a single squeak or rattle, despite having been flogged for weeks by journalists and at first mile events.

Other thing to consider: bright sunlight through the roof glass will make things greyer. Best representation is sunlight on an open door panel.

That is true.. I was looking at it at about 10pm, and only under the really bright white LED interior lights. The test driver even said the interior looked dirty, but the back seat, and front passenger had never been sat in, and it just looks dirty.

Not completely on topic here, but not so far off that I hope anyone minds.

During my test drive yesterday the Mobile Drive Specialist (how she introduced herself) said that they spent a year testing the OC to make sure there was no transfer of color from clothes, that it cleans easily, etc. She said it still gets dirty, but cleans well.

I'm holding out for OC even though I've not actually seen it in person. Just didn't like the BM.
