This weekend we decided to do a north Colorado trip to camp & hoon around in the sand. Basic idea was to drive to an RV campground (Ranger Lakes), fully charge overnight on 50A service with the portable charger (so 32A only), then use as much as 75% of charge to have some fun in the North Sand Hill Rec Area.
From the campsite, it was ~40 minute ride through some beautiful country. Some moose and lots of fall colors on the way to the dunes.
We made it to the dunes at ~85% SOC, starting from 100% overnight charge. Rally mode engaged on advice from others, it was time to have some fun.
The sand was very wet and heavy, we had some hard time getting major speed, but we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
