No sound after 2024.51 Update - Gen2 R1S

I just got my car back from the SC. I was told that there was a software fault that caused the amp to not receive the update. The updated my software to 51 again and all is well. I was told that they should be able to do this with a mobile visit too.

Hopefully they can prevent this from reoccurring and publish a tech bulletin so their service centers have this info.

I really find this fascinating.

Would love to have an option to turn off whatever fake engine sounds are being pumped into the cabin.

I'm thinking about finding a fuse for the amplifier and pulling it just to see what the difference is.

Hmm, there was never any engine noise in my R1S DM, unless that feature was never included in my vehicle.

There is no fake engine noise pumped into the cabin that I'm aware of. The noise I referred to is the pedestrian warning sound at low speed -
