Nice WOW Customer Service surprise after a chat conversation...

Spoke with customer service via chat the other day and was my typical engaging self. I always believe in the "you catch more bees with honey than vinegar" message and always try to treat everyone with respect and humor. I told a couple of jokes on the chat and while I didn't get the answers I wanted, it wasn't her fault and she was super helpful. This showed up at my door today - huge customer service win. They certainly have a fan for life. Totally unexpected.

Yup, always be kind. These folks, like many others, are just working hard and don't need the horse crap that too many people bring to the table by default. Kindness is becoming too much of a rarity.

I was asking about delivery windows (I switched from R1S to R1T and never received an updated window) as well as access to the R1T shop.

When inquiring about access to the R1T Shop on a chat I was kind, polite and respectful. I was told a polite “no“ for R1T Shop access but to check my account towards the end of the year. I was granted access the next business day

But - agreed that this was well played by Rivian. Small gestures like this go a long way and I suspect you will have even more patience now when they deliver your R1T and your wheel falls off the next day.

Nice! One of my first acts when I joined this forum was to have to block someone who said they called up Rivian support and were a total d*** to them, and basically that it was "the job they signed up for" to take his cr**. Kind of soured me quite a bit on the whole Rivian crowd. Nice to know not everyone here is like that.
