Recently noticed that my tires are rubbing when I have my blizzak 275/65/r20 in low or lowest. These tires should be the same size as the oem set. Is anyone else getting the same issue in their oem or blizzak tires?

I'm getting occasional rubbing with my 22" nokian snow tires (that are the same size as the 22 sport), but only on the passenger side when the suspension gets hard compressed in a slow, sharp turn. I noticed a rub spot before putting the snow tires on the truck though.

Photo was from before the swap.

Could it be that winter tires are slightly bigger than oem? I got recall crappy efficiency the other day road tripping in lowest (first time I drove in lowest) and wonder if this contributed to it

OP, did you get new wheels also? If so, which ones?

Non-OEM wheels with incorrect offset is leading to the rubbing.

Yeah that's the consensus.

I have the dodge wheels with only +18 offset
That will do it! These type of wheels with those offsets always rub.

Given you’re running the blizzaks, probably not a ton of times you’ll be running in lowest. Should be fine for the winter.

This one, that one and the other one.

Not all tires are the same. Despite being the same size, there are still variances among each tire manufacturer's actual size. That, combined with a difference in offset from the stock wheels could lead to rubbing as the inner fender wells are molded to fit the stock equipment.

Personally, I went down to a 275/60/20. More because I thought the 20" tires looked to big for the truck. The 21's and 22's have 33" diameter versus the stock 20's being at 34" diameter. With the tire change, I now have 33" inch tires on the 20" wheels and no rubbing issues.
