I don't think folks are saying they want a real bead lock, we (I) just don't want a faux bead lock.We have real beadlocks, for those that want that function - R80B

It makes a difference, pending his tire size. If he is going to 275/65R20 from 275/55R21, that's a 3.5% difference in circumference. Without software change, his truck will think he is still rolling on the smaller 275/55R21. And range calculations will still be based on the smaller tire. With out software change, he needs to run 275/60R20 to close that difference down to 0.3%.Honestly....it makes no material difference. The dashboard will say 21" instead of 20"...maters not. The vehicle functions exactly the same. The battery/range predictor may change a very tiny bit...maybe. Tire outer diameter is all that really matters, and that doesn't change - and at that, it only impacts the speedometer/odometer a tiny bit 'if' diameter changes.
Yes, but range is a dynamic calculation that is continuously calibrating based on energy consumption rates. Still makes an unmeasurable impact if the wheel size is not updated in the software. We have swapped between various sizes of tires, big and small. It makes a difference, pending his tire size. If he is going to 275/65R20 from 275/55R21, that's a 3.5% difference is circumference. Thanks for posting weights.
yes, coming later this week....Can we get a picture of the r1000 on the truck?
Are these available in bronze? I only see satin and diamond black on the website. If I can get them in bronze, it's going on my Christmas wish list.We have real beadlocks, for those that want that function - R80B
