Another early release mistake pulled?
it's on their website under the latest videosAnother early release mistake pulled?
In some ways it's fiendishly simple. I'm more worried about the air suspension personally.Holy crap this system sounds complex. Will be interesting to see how all these valves hold up to years of abuse / wear.
Yes. Air shocks are my only point of concern. In some ways it's fiendishly simple. I'm more worried about the air suspension personally.
I keep telling myself the same thing. (fingers crossed)Yes. Air shocks are my only point of concern.
however, this stuff is better than it was 10 years ago.
and there’s no crazy new technology in Rivian’s setup. It’s all refinements of existing systems.
besides, theres a nice long warranty ?
If it can do what they’ve done with it already(South America, rebelle rally, TAT, etc etc) with minimal breakage, I’m not worried. time will tell of course.I keep telling myself the same thing. (fingers crossed)
I’ve had the air shocks on my Jeep GC for over 7 years (around 70k miles)with no issues.I keep telling myself the same thing. (fingers crossed)
I remember being on the high altitude leg of a development test trip for the '96 Grand Cherokee and one of the air springs ruptured while on one of the offroad segments between Telluride and Ouray. That sucked, and was the reason I got my 2015 GC w/OR1 (steel springs) package rather than OR2 (air springs). Some things just stick with you. Keep in mind that the Grand Cherokee didn't end up getting air suspension for almost 20 years after that trip I was on. I had responsibility for the suspension control switch way back then.I’ve had the air shocks on my Jeep GC for over 7 years (around 70k miles)with no issues.
