For me 18 is way worse for PAAK and FOB. I used to get ~20ft away and would hear the chirp and now at ~40feet+ it’s still not locked and then have to use FOB. Clicking FOB to do any of the four functions takes numerous tries (even if next to the vehicle) which is frustrating…

Working great for me, but I still can't get Alexa to do SMS messaging which I REALLY miss after having Android Auto. I get tons of work related texts while driving and I find it truly annoying that this feature or lack there of does not work. Otherwise loving my new R1S.

If you connect your R1S to bluetooth and stream music that way then you can simple say "Okay Google" at any time and ask "read my messages, or read my text" and it will through the car speakers. You can then reply back. I also run Waze in the background that way I at least get alerts on the road. Its not the best solution, but for me its been working great.

Oh yeah. I used to have basically none -- margin of error. Now I'm walking away for a few hours and finding 10-20 miles range gone.

Not sure what that version of the app gives you since the current one works with the .18 on the Rivian.

This is huge for me been fighting this since the last update I use her for everything through voice commands.

• Fixed an occasional issue: Alexa occasionally didn’t play music even when Alexa responded and confirmed the command to play music.

I also opened a ticket on this glad they are doing the right thing.

• Addressed a regression with acceleration response that affected launch performance.
