Many distribution centers are located in Ontario, CA and seeing that Rivian HQ is in Irvine, CA (also in So Cal), Ontario, CA makes sense

Real question will be if they figure out the logistics of shipping a t-shirt and mug to Canada before they figure out the logistics of shipping an R1T/R1S to Canada...

I bought my 175 share allotment of stock, but I think $35 for a t-shirt is too much and $90 for a hoody? That's ridiculous.

Wow some of you got quick shipping. I ordered as soon as it launched and I haven’t received even a tracking number. Hopefully SOON.

For anyone that is curious here are the internals of the Field Kit.

I didn’t fully open all of the smaller packages yet but you will get the gist along with the contents breakdown that they included. Overall I think its a pretty good value and my comments are below:

• I wish that they would have used a CAT tourniquet instead of just a band (purely personal preference) so I will add that in.
• The included scissors likely won’t be good for much other than opening some of the contents/packages. I’ll be adding trauma shears as well
• Would have loved a small permanent marker instead of a pencil but it will do. I’ll also probably add a rite in the rain notebook
• I would have also loved for the secondary bag to be more of a mini-pelican like crush proof case but I might swap that out later
• Nothing overly spectacular about the larger case. Seems well constructed with decent zippers
• The comparable IFAK/MFAK I would get otherwise is a bit more expensive but checks all of the boxes where here I will just need to fill in a few gaps which is to be expected

SWEET! I am waiting on mine to be shipped but that is awesome you have a Rivian Product in your hands haha.

I am sorry you could not place an order from our Gear Shop. This is a brief waiting inconvenience until we sort out the logistics of shipping to Canada from the Gear Shop. Trust me, we are not trying to exclude our friends in Canada and you should have the opportunity to purchase from the shop very soon.

They will sort it out but hopefully it won’t be too long… because they sent me an email to advertise the gear shop even though we can’t buy from it yet ! Let’s hope it is not being developed by the same IT team working on the cars themselves.

I don’t think so, because those items are Made in the USA, not China or any other place using low wage or slave labor.

EDIT: Just to be clear, “Made in the USA” is an label that is regulated by the FTC. For something to say it’s “Made in the USA” it has to be “All or Virtual All“ made in the United States. Components, labor, etc.
