My recommendation for a key fob holder would be one that could act as an RF blocker. Maybe some kind of mechanical mechanism that could be set.

So people can set their keys down without worrying about the Rivian unlocking and locking.

Even something that simply reduced the RF signal might work well.

This is likely what you're looking for:

The proper way to control this is through the setting on the truck, not by reducing the capabilities of the key fob. Ideally, one could disable passive entry (at least at home) and unlock actively from a huge distance away.

I think that @iansriv was referring to you potentially making a key fob cover that highlights the various buttons...ie: colors the lock, unlock, frunk, lift/tailgate buttons to make them stand-out from the black cover.

Even better than a cover would be a replacement plate with the buttons somehow highlighted and more visible.

Very cool! Which one is the CF one? I've never used the key as it's bulky. This might solve that. Also, any thoughts on replacing the covers with ones that you can actually see what you're selecting? I know some here have posted about colouring them but your work seems much more robust. Cheers.

I‘d pay double if it came with a replacement button plate that had visible buttons.

That said,

All of that is great, but it's called "Rangefinder" for a reason. In our testing, locking function from the key fob increases from ~295ft to ~385ft -- an increase of nearly 25%. We took photos of one of our tests, and here is what it looks like:

If you hadn't posted pictures, I would have assumed you meant inches instead. My key fob rarely works further than ~20ft even with a fresh battery. Maybe I'll get 30ft with this surround

Yikes!

In that last picture, you can see the lights of the R1T on. It measured out at 386ft away.

Is there a chance you will make one in compass yellow? I would buy it right now. I have purchased everything in the gear shop in compass yellow, now that it is discontinued. That yellow isn't even close.

"Not" Compass is pretty dang close. I'll see if I can get a picture of it next to Compass yellow soon.
