Hi Everyone!
We’re thrilled to announce our brand-new Rivian wheels! We spent months on this wheel design in-house at MPP – aiming for something motorsport inspired, aerodynamic, functional, and clean. We really love the way these Rivian wheels came out, and hope you do too! These wheels have been getting a ton of attention everywhere we go.
The truck finally looks tough and filled out - something the 21's couldn't pull off. It's also been really nice to see that the efficiency hasn't been as badly affected as we had expected. Surprisingly we were getting over 2.1 mi/kWh at 75mph consistently on a long road trip over the weekend.
A little bit of information about Braid. These aren’t no-name wheels from a questionable factory overseas. Braid Motorsport are leaders in motorsport wheels with a history in Dakar and WRC going back as far as the 1980’s. Braid also supply wheels for Formula E, E-TCR and make prototype wheels for a number of OEMs in Europe. These wheels are expensive, motorsport wheels. By focusing on high quantity and a few target sizes, we’re able to get the price significantly below what custom, made-to-order Braid wheels typically cost.
The wheels are currently available for pre-order, and will be shipping in the fall. Here's the link to all of the details
