I get why these are aluminum but would like to see a steel version offered.
Aluminum tends to "bite" and "hang on" when dragged along rocks - versus steel which allows more of a "sliding" action.

Any plans to offer an aftermarket reinforced underbody shield? I think there would be a good market for it.

Hey everyone! Excited to share our newly released Front Skid Plate designed specifically for the Rivian R1T and R1S.

This upgrade replaces the factory plastic skid plate with a far more durable solution, offering real protection where it matters most. Whether you're tackling rocky trails, crawling over obstacles, or blasting through sand, our skid plate is built to take the hit—so your underbody doesn’t have to.

🔧 Key Features:
  • Precision fit for R1T & R1S
  • 25lbs
  • Replaces factory plastic skid plate
  • Made from 1/4-inch 5052-H32 aluminum — lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant
  • Rugged textured black powder coat for added durability and a clean, aggressive look
  • Fully bolt-on installation — no cutting, drilling, or welding required
Designed and manufactured in-house right here in the USA 🇺🇸.
