Don't hate me. But it would be good to know your configurations @AdamL and @Shzeph compared to @godfodder0901 . Maybe that will give us an idea of why one is delayed until February and the other 2 are not. All 3 of you are from Washington, so location doesn't seem to be the reason.
and ask for the obvious... can the other two reach out to their Guides right now and poke them about any pending delivery delay for their own vehicles. Seems like a reasonable next action.

They already did that (see above). Their guides confirmed late Nov.

Edit: I’m order number 3770 (or 2770 because of the whole “subtract 1000” thing)

Edit 2: I pre-ordered 12/13/2018

You can look up those things yourself. I believe that they have all shared that in the guide contacts thread and probably another thread.

It could be something as 'simple' as the Rivian Blue color. There appears to be a shortage of blue pigment. Earlier this year, a plastic furniture supplier told me that a particular product was not available in brown, because there was a shortage of brown resin, but other colors were available, including an off-yellow that looked like something in a baby diaper. I wonder why that color was available, lol.

LE, Rivian Blue, Black Mountain, 20-inch AT, plus most of the fixings (kitchen, tent, etc).

I won’t speak for him, but I seem to recall AdamL also had blue/black, etc.

So it sorta seems like the only major difference is the order number

Thanks Shzeph, you are correct. Blue/Black, 20" AT, Off Road Package, but no camp kitchen. My order number (that appears in my configuration) is 1234, so minus 1000=234?

It does appear the 2018 orders may be getting prioritized over 2019 orders, which is an encouraging sign if true.

Interesting. I think @godfodder0901 was in the 7000s. Configurations look similar, location is the same (state anyways).

The only thing I can think of then is what @timf said above; that 2018 orders are being prioritized above all others, at least right now

Haha. I hang out because I'm bored and I don't have an electric truck to take on adventures... Yes, it's a very rational view and I should just ignore more. Have only done it once, I think. (I'm sure I have been both officially and unofficially ignored many, many times.)

In the meantime I will probably just stick to my current strategy of agitating people to the point where they finally do cancel their orders and, in victory, I will move up one more slot in the queue. That's the real goal.
Rivian R1T R1S New Delivery Delay Confirmed - My R1T Delivery Pushed From October to end of February, 2022. RivSquid

I suggest we play Squid Game, the final one standing gets their Rivian! The queue will be reduced quickly after the first game of Red-Light, Green-Light!

I was just told by my Guide today that my new estimated delivery is by the end of February, 2022. Changed from October, 2021. *Supply chain constraints were quoted as the number one contributor.
Sorry to hear that. If I may ask, When was your preorder order date? Mine is 2020 May for R1T and 2020 Nov for R1S. Just want to extrapolate when we can expect ours

Well, assuming all of that pans out, I'd expect by March 1st they are talking about how they are continually expanding LE R1T deliveries to new markets, perhaps an update on non-LE R1T and LE R1S timeline (they will likely have started delivering these to employees already). Probably a projection of when LE should be complete, at least for the T. Cherry on top would be update on Max packs.

But nothing will go according to plan, so ask me again on February 25th.
Good job. Holding on to confidence in Rivian despite the evidence against.
