Does this mean you can roll it up with the cross bars in place, or just that it doesn't interfere with the mounting points?

yes, you can roll it up. Let me pop our cross bars on and test the 'while the bars are on'....standby

both good questions, we'll hose it down and get some details. I would say as waterpoof as the factory tonneau, but we'll test. and stash in tunnel. Good questions gang!
