Yes but it’s a more heavy duty tire that should do much better in the snow and provide slightly better grip with light off-roading. Not to mention it’s under $300 and has a long tread life warranty. Definitely not for those who want max on road performance and max efficiency, but good to see another option with the XL load rating.

Thanks for this! I think this looks like an excellent replacement tire for the R1S on 22s. No need for the sport aspect of the Pirellis but Michelin defenders look…not great. This will probably be my next tire.
