I have no issues with +42. More than anything else, I would prefer to see protection for the valve; just make sure there is enough clearance for the typical Milton quick-release air chucks that some inflation kits use (factory wheels have almost no clearance). Reference factory 20" AT wheel, Thuren's, etc.. If you want to shed weight, also reference Thuren's approach with a 0.5" narrower barrel (with +50 ET). This will allow alternative option of running wider 285/60R20 tire without risk of rubbing. Their wheel is 43.5 lbs.

So far, nobody supports the idea of fake bead lock. We will kill it and publish a new one soon. ET42 to offer 6 mm more aggressive offset as it’s an off-road wheel. Do you guys prefer it to keep OEM?
I am not a typical aftermarket wheel buyer. I never bought them for any of my cars. But I have 21s and I will be looking to get rid of them once tires wear out. I am sure many are in the same boat. I would prefer to keep things OEM.

I just preordered, can I switch to non-fake beadlock variant?

I agree, no fake bead lock. Also these look like a much more attractive version of the new 22" Range wheels without the cover, nicely done!

I want these in 22in. 20s are just too small for the R1S to my eye.

In the same boat for ditching the 21’s when the tires are worn.
No fake bead-locks please. Au naturale for me.

I'm no wheel expert (and certainly don't claim to be an artist), but are these... holes? Can you help a layman understand what's going on here?

It is called wheel knurling, and it adds a textured pattern to the inner edge of the wheel to keep the tire from slipping. This improves safety and performance by ensuring the tire stays securely on the wheel.

There is an explanation for our [AWZZ] wheels:

Neat, thanks! Seems like overkill to make that whole video just for me, but I appreciate it ;-)

My giggle from the video: I'm sure we'll all save the "heavy acceleration" for "a track day or something like that..." I haven't been to any track days in the R1T yet, but I'm covered under the "or something like that"-provision. 😎
