Well, we had our first off roading (and water fording) experience and it resulted in losing our front plate. Sidenote, this truck is badass! Handled about 3' of water without issue or leakage. So fun! We're using the BrainExploder tow hook license plate clip which is great but I neglected to take the plate off before playing. Anyone have one they'd be willing to sell me (I'll pay shipping as well)? The BrainExploder replacements are expensive and, though I haven't reached out to them yet, I suspect Rivian will want a lot for one as well. Thanks for considering!

For what it's worth - I'm using the Builtright tow-hook mount. It seems pretty tough (the mount appears to be strong plastic, 4 machine bolts holding it together. The backplate (to which you mount your license plate) is machined metal. Happy so far.

Are you not having issues with the sensors? I keep reading the builtright mounts are having these issues..

I have one and have had no issues with sensors once I figured out the optimal position. Just look at the physical location of sensors, and make sure the plate is equidistant from the two sensors. Bonus is that it doesn't show up in the front camera like others do.

Would you recommend this over the brain exploder mount? Just want to buy one, not sure if you have experience with the other.

I would, simply because there isn't much of a price difference and the BuiltRight is made of higher quality materials.

Didn't need the mount, just the plate frame. Had a couple separate forum members send one. Now I have a backup in case I get in too deep again, ha.
