Pretty easy to unplug the speaker. ;)
Do we actually know that it is easy?

Do we know that Rivian doesn't detect the lack of a speaker and display a big error message on the screen 24/7 and that Rivian doesn't use the same speaker for other functions (horn, door lock chirp, car alarm)?

If you guys are able to, can you share if your R1Ts fall within the RTA vehicle tax? Given how I read the tax provision it should be excluded because it is a truck that is over 6,000 lbs GVW. Just trying to figure out first year cost of ownership prior to going through the paperwork.

I appologized if this was already answered somewhere else in this thread, I didn't make it through all the previous pages.
Sorry. Kitsap County here.

I was teasing, but I'm sure there's a way to do it. I'd love for someone to record it so we can all hear what this rooster sounds like! :)

Do not buy a Tesla to J1772 adapter you are asking for trouble. You are better off buying a J1772 that your utility provides incentives on and using the adapter Tesla provides you when you need to charge the Tesla (if you keep it).
Do you have experience using one of these with a Tesla Wall Connector? I have a Gen 2 installed and was planning on buying a 40amp adapter. Currently only about a $200 rebate locally for me if I swap out and get a new charger. Still on the fence and depends if I decide to keep my Tesla after my Lyriq arrives.

Hard to understand the actual question.

The mobile charger that comes with the Rivian does come with a Nema 14/50 plug so if you have that outlet it will work.

If asking if the Tesla charger will work it would but only with a Tesla to J1772 adapter.
Sorry I meant the outlet. I was wondering if I had to get an electrician to put in a different outlet when my R1S arrives.

I picked up a 80amp mini to use with my Gen 3 because my wife's ertron Gt can charge at 48amp and wanted to future proof. I bring it with us on road trips so that I can use Tesla destination chargers need be.

They're not cheap but built well.

no but I’ve heard stories and not good ones. $200?! Is that through your utility. There’s gotta be more. You can still use the federal tax credit to offset the cost partially as well.

We demand that you immediately record the... CHARGE CURVE!! CHARGE CURVE!!

No, just kidding. Enjoy the truck, and don't worry about responding to anyone's info demands.

@AdamL @godfodder0901 and anyone else in Puget Sound, are y'all getting extra tint, PPF or ceramic applied? If so, do you have a place lined up yet? I was going to price out a few places in Gig Harbor and Tacoma.

Didn't the federal tax credit for installation of EV chargers expire at the end of 2021? I haven't seen that it was renewed. And yes, I've checked ... $250 (correction) is all you get. Nothing from SCE.

http://www.aqmd.gov/home/programs/community/community-detail?title=ev-charging-incentive

The only thing I've heard about the converters is that they don't work with Gen3 Wall Connectors and some vehicles. For me, I'll wait to buy the adapter until I get my R1S ... I'm also sure SOMEONE on here will pre-qualify something WAY before I get my vehicle in 2023!!! I may change my mind if more rebates are enacted ... you never know what will happen given the current state of the world!

I get $0 from my provider for an EVSE and they have no incentives. Did the federal credit get renewed for 2022? I thought it expired in 2021, but maybe I’m wrong.
