My first “Home Depot” modification is the addition of these 3M strips to keep my phone from constantly sliding around on the slick charging pads so that I don’t have to hold it while I drive or lose the charging connection. It may not be the most beautiful mod, but it has made things better.
Although not really a DIY modification, I also added Tailwind garage door control. I didn’t like digging around for a garage door opener in a way I haven’t had to do after more than 10 years with various cars that all had Homelink-type functionality.
By the way, I don’t intend this to be a thread for people to just complain with “I don’t expect to have to do something like this in an $80K vehicle!” This is more for folks to share ideas on how they’ve improved on an already amazing vehicle.
