Well I asked my guide about getting shop access again and he just stated that once it is removed you can't get it back. What would the purpose possibly be for such a bonehead policy? Just trying to get people to panic and take a configuration they may not really want before they lose access? Seems like a really stupid customer relations move to me.

It would be odd if it didn't but I want to see the photos, an extra 200lbs of payload would be a selling point on a DM for me.

Yeah that's not true, but they might be working on changing their policy. I got shop access back and picked another R1S.

Yeah, this is kinda pissing me off right now. I first ordered an R1S in July, 22. Changed to an R1T in June. Configured in July with a dual motor. Got shop access on August 11th. Checked it every few days and all there was were quads. Wanted the dual to stay within budget and the extra range is nice too. Had shop access up to just a few days ago. Now there is a load of Duals added and my access is gone. They knew I was waiting for a dual and took it away right before they were available. My config is a standard dual, but I would have gone to the performance if I got everything else I wanted. I was able to look at the shop and there was a truck I would have ordered, if I had access, but now I'm SOL. They just missed out on an upsell. What a stupid policy.

I log onto my rivian account. There used to be a link and now it's gone. If I click the link that was in the original email I got in August I get an error.

I'd assume they might have a VIN for you really soon if they took it away.

That would be strange if true. My estimated delivery still says "Processing Estimate".

July 22 R1S reservation. have not gotten R1S Shop access yet. guide keeps saying any day but he's been saying that for 2 months.

OK, now I've picked out a truck in the shop, but when I click on it I get a message that I already have an order, and this one would be added on top of that one. Definitely not what I want. I've got a message into my guide to see how to handle it.
