Love those Milwaukee Packout organizers. Have started to use them in the garage, for tools, parts and more and more so on the truck. I have a set of them on a Mole panel in the back of the truck and was looking at adding a few small ones to the frunk. Found a great aluminum mounting plate on Amazon and after my Mobile Service appointment earlier today, thought it was a great sunny day to install a pair for the frunk:

8 Stainless steel M6 bolts with stainless flange nuts in the back. Made sure they all cleared and did not touch or rub against anything.

These now hold all my Yakima and Küat nick nack as well as Mole Panel screws and fasteners.

Total time about 75 min to install.

Bonus: Got to blow out all those leaves that have accumulated in recent month inside all the cracks and the entire front section of the truck.

Curious about the snow chains, are you on the 20" tires and do they fit without rubbing at speed?

Yes on 20” and yes they fit on the rear - on high setting and slow speeds. They will not fit in the front and would rub badly.
Carry them mainly for exceptions where law requires them.

Dammit... I had Super Z8's and low speed high setting, seemed fine, but once I crossed that 20-30kph speed zone, they would start pulling away from the tire and you could hear them starting to hit the inner fenders. Front was obviously worse. I wanted to keep them, but the ease of install was going to be a huge barrier for my wife if she needed to use them to go snow shoeing with friends etc. In the end, I returned them.

Thanks for responding to my thread hijacking question ;)

Sorry for the typo: Molle and yes I got mine from BuiltRight. Will take a picture and share.

No worries, didn't know if it was a sweet new thing I should know about.

Thanks.

Looks great! Do you have a picture of how you did the back?
Here we go. Used shorter bolts on the bottom to further reduce the chance of rubbing against something. Used Blue loctite on all of them. The are stainless steel flange nuts - the extra surface area helps with the plastic.

These I have had on the bed for a while. They normally hold several Packout Boxes, usually 2 deep just to fix within the space left by the flipout bed extender.

curvature of plastic might limit the use but I have found "fender washers" to work well - wafer thin, large OD and small ID
