We extend a warm welcome to join us to discuss the newest EV pickup competition, or even just to lurk and read. ?

Not a fan of the looks. Appears very bloated / chonky in appearance. Based on the flying buttress in the back, they should gave called it the Evalanche!

I like it.
Definitely doesn’t look like a normal boxy pickup truck.
Also, I can’t lie, I liked the Avalanche a little.

Nothing is a secret on the internet!
That is true. I like it better than the f150. Guess I will have to wake up and make a reservation tomorrow

Frankly, I kinda like it. I want details and a better look at it, but I dig it.

If it has the midgate like Avalanche and not priced ridiculously like Hummer, I may cancel everything else and wait for this. I loved Avalanche.

Looks about like what I was expecting... Don't mind it at all and I like how they did a bit more to it cosmetically than Ford did to the F150. On the other hand, Ford played it smart and maybe a bit too safe, but really did what was needed to attract their base of truck customers. For a lot of truck guys, the thought of going electric is scary enough, keeping the rest of the truck the same helps. That said, I think GM has found a nice balance here. If they can claim 400+ miles of range, I'll reserve one.

From that picture, the design is indeed more Avalanche than Silverado. On a Silverado, the bed is physically separate from the cab. On the Avalanche, it's one piece.

Say what you want about the Avalanche, i love mine. Few people realize that in 2001, the Avalanche is what introduced the crew cab design to the mass consumer pickup truck market.

This is the vehicular equivalent of a man with a mullet wearing wraparound sunglasses which, if we're honest, is probably the target market for Chevy trucks.

Will be interesting to see how specs and price compare to Rivian.

Then it makes sense the E Silverado looks like a mullet Avalanche, since mullets are making a comeback. ?

Yea. Hopefully they are pretty good. Figured I would put a reservation down since it's only $100. Hopefully they don't do what ford did and talk about the low price, but once you add the extended battery it goes from $52k to $72k
