It's all good, i am actually pretty handy on my own. So i installed them last night and they came out. Here are photos of the final product.

Thats the look I wanna go for eventually, once I pull the trigger on changing my wheels.

I skipped the hole saw and went with an oscillating saw to cut slots into the plastics but i also had to trim the plastics to fit the arc in the brackets connected to the frame. Took me about 3 hours taking my time.

Are referring to welding the surface plates on the rails to the body of step rails. I hadn't thought about it given that there were approximately 20 connecting the surface plates to the body. It's not going anywhere and I will check them in a week or two to make sure they aren't vibrating themselves loose.

Can you post some pictures of the slots and fit? Do you plan to seal them with the help of the Gorilla?

I don't plan on adding anything to close up the holes more. The plastics on the bottom are mostly deco and aero finishes. When i took them off, there was plenty of dust in there from a couple desert trips and nothing else in the cavity that would be impacted from the weather conditions in my area.

Pulled into garage. Son opened his car door, I hadn't taken foot off of the brake. So he opened it, hit the R1T, looked back to tell him to close the door, he was half way out the car, I told him to get in and let me move the car. As I was saying that, I let go of the brake and the car rocked back doing that...

Waiting for service appointment to be done in early April. Half the bolts are missing from the panels

I noticed at least one missing bolt on a rear panel. I need to get back under and check again to see what else might be missing.

I just noticed, that damage is just to the PPF, so not so bad!

PPF. Comes that way from the factory. All gear tunnel doors have it. Get an inexpensive replacement from Iliya @twraps! He’ll hook you up with a fix in no time!
